Dad in College,

A. Neal de Gaston, Senior

Dad started college in September of 1955, after turning down appointments to the Army and
Air Force Academies (West Point and Colorado Springs respectively).   In June, 1959, Dad
graduated with a physics major, and minors in mathematics and electrical engineering.
At the end of the summer after   working for Ramo-Woodridge, he served a two-year
mission, and then, though accepted at Cal-Tech, went to graduate school at Brigham
Young University by-passing a Master's to directly work on his Ph.D.

Here I am with other Freshmen class officers in these next two pictures (reducing them for
the Web site has resulted in some Moire patterning).
